DEEP BREATH

Anykščiai boscage pines are magical in the way they help to ease breathing, improving air circulation. These evergreen trees have a profound calming effect on the central nervous system. Enjoy walks in the major parks in the area: Anykščiai Regional Park, The Forest of Anykščiai, Troškūnai Arboretum and Traupis Botanical Garden

WALKING ON TREES

The Treetop Walking Path is situated in Anykščiai forest and is the only such path in the Baltic countries. Visitors start near the Puntukas stone, second biggest stone in Lithuania. Climbing up the hill the Treetop Walking Path will slowly rise from the ground to the height of 21 meters on the tree canopy. The path stretches 300 m through treetops and ends at the 35 m height viewing tower.

LAKES & RIVERS

Anykščiai district is rich in lakes. The largest is Rubikiai, surprising visitors with its 16 islands and traditional sailing regatta that takes place during St. John festival. Also, there are plenty of rivers – the biggest is called Šventoji and runs through the city of Anykščiai.
